Information and Instructions on Presentations

  • Oral Presentations (including both special and regular sessions)
  • 15 minutes for each talk: 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions.
  • If you are to use a computer projector (for PowerPoint presentations or else), you need to bring your own laptop computer.  That is, a computer projector will be available in each conference room, but not a computer.
  • If you are to use a computer projector, it is highly recommended to bring a back-up set of your presentation in the form of regular slides or overheads.
  • If you are to use a computer projector, you should make sure, before your presentation, of the compatibility of cables and the projector in the Presentation Preview room (Room 208C) or one of the conference rooms.
  • Poster Presentations
  • Poster board size: 4.00 x 8.00 feet (Your poster should be smaller than that, of course).
  • Pushpins will be provided at the poster site.
